It is called Soper Creek Yarn. You can visit their website at www.sopercreekyarn.ca I quite loved it and for once did not go on a rampage buying yarn. I did buy some dishcloth cotton though. It is a beautiful mix of several bright, cheery colours. I am planning on making it into a mock crochet beanie. I used the pattern from Loom Knitting Primer by Isela Phelps. I didn't do such a great job with the seaming. I would love to try these again and make the seaming a little better and make them a little longer. It is definitely a great pattern.<div>Have a good weekend:)</div><div>-HJ</div><div><br /></div>H.Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14802461600094255491noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2106778912648165625.post-13067429003822187372009-01-15T14:12:00.000-08:002009-01-15T14:15:02.314-08:00Q and A with HJHi guys<br />Do you have any questions concerning your loom knitting?<br />If you do leave them in the comments and i will try my best to answer at least one a week.<br />If i don't get any, I will try to make up a general of my own. <div>-HJ</div>H.Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14802461600094255491noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2106778912648165625.post-7417449855328170392009-01-12T13:57:00.000-08:002009-01-12T14:10:03.362-08:00<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLCv-F2U881bg9wtyN_EuFlEXqSBu5x4kv2AGDhrd47P3uITFy1KcVk5SRpfwtc3yWTLeo9cWGy9kvibG_z0ZjYSoLPJXQtXTRq4XXd3DwclZ67XbOWgpO0P5Db-YkPUrhlfuCbDLrYc60/s1600-h/My+drawstring+bag.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLCv-F2U881bg9wtyN_EuFlEXqSBu5x4kv2AGDhrd47P3uITFy1KcVk5SRpfwtc3yWTLeo9cWGy9kvibG_z0ZjYSoLPJXQtXTRq4XXd3DwclZ67XbOWgpO0P5Db-YkPUrhlfuCbDLrYc60/s320/My+drawstring+bag.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5290531889182578210" /></a><br />Here is the bag I said I would post yesterday. I made it with bamboo yarn. I will never do that again. As soon as i took it into the shower to use it it grew to about twice its size!!! It it quite soft though. I saw a similar one at the body shop for 10 bucks so i tried to make that one similar. I think it would be better using 2 strands of cotton!:)<br />HJ<br />PS check out the survey what is your favourite type of yarn on the sideH.Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14802461600094255491noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2106778912648165625.post-50433500462004726142009-01-09T22:00:00.000-08:002009-01-09T22:00:00.143-08:00Tea Cozy<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyPK4rVQHktSSt0MhXRO_0MzCMyWTgQw8TcvWkSgE03ps91R7Xs67-4FTY6ItBtGanJf5e_GmbwJAGuAuL-A455Qqom4yBo6NrlS3g87JPzOtAqsyQydLCNjGlxmA0iNjb85-5gnxmXqHa/s1600-h/tea+cozy.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 238px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyPK4rVQHktSSt0MhXRO_0MzCMyWTgQw8TcvWkSgE03ps91R7Xs67-4FTY6ItBtGanJf5e_GmbwJAGuAuL-A455Qqom4yBo6NrlS3g87JPzOtAqsyQydLCNjGlxmA0iNjb85-5gnxmXqHa/s320/tea+cozy.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289493034883705570" /></a><br />I am so glad it is the weekend! Goodness, the week after christmas break ends always feels like such a drag!!! My cousin has started a blog of her own check it out! http://usa-canada-family.blogspot.com/ I tried leaving a comment on it earlier but my computer was not working too well. I am trying to post a picture of at least 1 of my completed loom projects each day. Today, as you can see i posted a tea cozy. I have already started looming February's p.o.t.m. It is a surprise though so i wont tell you! Now that I have figured this all out I am so excited to get to the computer every day and post!<br />-HJ<br />PS sorry the picture is the wrong way i don't know how to flip itH.Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14802461600094255491noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2106778912648165625.post-2301441211082721602009-01-08T18:06:00.000-08:002009-01-08T18:21:31.640-08:00Pattern of the Month for January<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU8YZZRikNUTfVPEyi-HiFBJ0o61WFTZJBCzg6DOqCWKUsfgghHGeRB2SFw_xd3bgAU5ngNfwm7-9z5DqjhUVsTKrp4Y5106CeIc6GC-i30xPFGDl1CVOMXk87auGID169btM1oaNoVh8J/s1600-h/finger+puppets+1.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 238px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU8YZZRikNUTfVPEyi-HiFBJ0o61WFTZJBCzg6DOqCWKUsfgghHGeRB2SFw_xd3bgAU5ngNfwm7-9z5DqjhUVsTKrp4Y5106CeIc6GC-i30xPFGDl1CVOMXk87auGID169btM1oaNoVh8J/s320/finger+puppets+1.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289110775501899346" /></a>Fingy's<div>These Finger puppets are so easy to make. I made her a couple months ago and here she is. She was made on the Blue knifty knitter. I won a judges choice for her at our local Orono fair. She was quite easy to make. I might make her the pattern of the month some time if i get to writing it up:)<br />-HJH.Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14802461600094255491noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2106778912648165625.post-50372399056379856722009-01-06T16:07:00.000-08:002009-01-06T16:10:40.917-08:00New Blog for MeHi everyone, how are you all?
